I always stay at this amazing place in Alappuzha. The staff even gave me recommendations for where to eat. It has Wi-Fi, parking, security, welcome drink, airport shuttle. Perfect for my city trips.

The crew on the houseboat was fantastic, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The food was absolutely outstanding, with delicious options for breakfast and dinner. Additionally, the houseboat had comfortable accommodations with separate rooms and bathrooms, adding to the overall convenience. The location was also a major plus, as we were able to enjoy the peaceful and picturesque landscape of the river.

One downside was the crowdedness of the canals and mooring places due to the number of houseboats on the backwaters. This made it a bit more difficult to fully appreciate the tranquility of the surroundings.

We also enjoyed the Ayurveda Spa experience, with a skilled massage therapist and a relaxing and pampering treatment. it was one of the best experiences we've had. Cons: Cannot find any fault. 👌.

the boat itself was gorgeous, made of traditional wood and bamboo, unlike the majority of other boats. the facilities were clean and modern, and the boat had ample space for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. the food prepared by the chef was delicious and great value for the quality and quantity. the staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. it was a private and luxurious experience sailing on the backwaters. The onboard staff were beyond courteous and the young man who greeted me was very friendly. The boat was well equipped and the top deck offered a relaxing space to lounge and take in the views. Lunch was delicious and the food and service overall were incredible!

The boat followed a fairly standard route and didn't visit the more interesting parts of the backwaters. The overnight mooring area was not particularly picturesque and adjacent to a busy residential area, detracting from the peacefulness of the experience.

I must say, we definitely got our money's worth with the Why Not Houseboat. The room was comfortable and the interior was beautifully done. The location was serene and the staff treated us like royalty.
